A multigenerational housing community in Oregon is fostering a sense of belonging for those in need.

Bridge Meadows allows older adults, children, and their families to thrive together in a supportive environment.

This community encourages connection between different generations. The eldest residents offer guidance and support to children who have experienced foster care.

This type of living arrangement also instills a sense of purpose in older adults who lead socially isolated lives.

“The intentionality of the place means that there’s always that understanding that we’re all here to connect with each other. If ever you need that connection, it’s there for you,” said Brian Parker, a resident.

An initiative by Angeles Sin Fronteras provided a new sense of confidence to eighty-five cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Texas Oncology, San Antonio Medical Center.

All the women received free makeovers and cosmetic kits.

Founder Tere Castello aims to help women feel better about themselves by giving them the encouragement they need as they go through chemotherapy.

Every year, the non-profit organization gives out around 500 free wigs to women living with cancer!

“Just having something to maybe take the focus out of the cancer diagnosis and help you just to feel better about yourself, it can improve how you follow your treatment,” said Dr. Emmalind Aponte, medical oncologist with Texas Oncology.

The company is dedicated to uplifting a community of creative fashion creators in New York City.

“I’ve seen a lot of small businesses feel discouraged because of how small they are. I don’t want small businesses to feel less than—I want them to feel like their brand is a multi-billion dollar company, no matter its size,” said Jennifer.
