It offers us a sense of purpose and makes our lives more meaningful.

Every act of kindness brings us closer to others and empowers us to build better communities for everyone.
By doing more good deeds each day, we can experience a greater sense of joy, fulfillment, and connection in our lives.

Man uses 3D printing to create adaptive devices for children in need.

James Robert was born without fingers on his left hand. However, he has never let this limitation hold him back.

He has persevered through every challenge he’s faced and is now using his lived experience to help others. He now works as the chief print technologist at Make Good NOLA.

Under the guidance of Noam Platt, the founder of Make Good NOLA, James is creating adaptive devices to help people with disabilities.

“Being here and doing the right thing at the right time, being in the right place. It’s beautiful,” said James.

Owners Chad and Carol Trainor built Urban Olive & Vine with the help of teen employees.

When Carol was hospitalized, this group of dedicated teenagers stepped up and took on new responsibilities to keep the business running.

They filled every role in the restaurant, from arriving early in the morning to creating daily specials and managing schedules, to grocery shopping.

Sadly, Carol passed away on May 5th. But since then, the teens have continued to honor the woman who supported them both in school and in life.

“Without them, the restaurant would not exist. These kids became adults and ran our business and took care of me,” said Chad.

AI-powered robot dog raises awareness about animal abuse.

“Waldog” is an AI-powered robot dog designed to raise awareness about animal abuse and welfare. Waldo Fernández González, an animal rights advocate, came up with the idea of using a robot dog to give a voice to those who don’t have one.

Waldog tours the streets of Monterrey, Mexico, greeting people and initiating conversations with passersby. His mission is to encourage kindness towards animals.

“We are using it to raise awareness about the difference between a living being that ultimately has needs like food, cleanliness, care, hygiene, and a robotic device,” said Fernández.

Project inspires people to tap into the interconnectedness of the human experience.

Brandon Doman is the founder of The Strangers Project, an exhibit featuring handwritten stories from people around the world.

The initiative aims to foster connection among strangers through the power of heartfelt letters.

It encourages individuals to be completely honest and share vulnerable stories in writing, offering participants a deeper understanding of others’ lives.

“I think it’s all of these are just telling the rest of the world like, ‘Hey, I’m here and I have something to say.’ And so, it’s going to come through in a million different topics, in a million different ways. But I think all of these are just sort of reaching out to the world and just saying, ‘We’re all a part of this. I’m a part of this. Here’s a little bit of what I have to say,” said Brandon.
