Baseball team creates an unforgettable experience for an 8-year-old.
Dalton De Micheli, an Arizona Diamondbacks superfan, had dreamed of meeting the team for years. The eight-year-old has undergone multiple procedures for a congenital heart defect.
Dalton finally got the chance to meet and spend time with the team at Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona. After everything he’s been through, his love for baseball brought him closer to his dream. And the team didn’t let him down, giving him an experience he’ll never forget.
He was moved to tears of joy after meeting his favorite player, Corbin Carroll!
“Just to be able to do something special for him it meant a lot. It was a great reminder of the kind of power that we can have as athletes and the lives that we can touch,” said Corbin Carroll.
Special ambulance offers expert veterinary care on the go.
Ready Vet Go offers emergency pet transport in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Founders Nic Saunders and Dr. Paul Cunningham are on a mission to provide the highest quality care to pets when they need it most.
This pet ambulance is equipped with essential medical equipment and supplies to provide critical support and interventions for sick or injured pets during transport.
“You can imagine if we were out of breath or we didn’t have enough oxygen, even 5 or 10 minutes on the road without that support can be a matter of life or death. So, being able to provide that support is really a game-changer for these animals,” said Dr. Paul.
Restaurant creates job opportunities for people with disabilities.
Pizzabilities is creating job opportunities for people with special needs.
Co-founder Josh Baker came up with the idea of opening a restaurant that accommodates people with special needs, like his daughter, who has Down syndrome.
His goal is to put the spotlight on inclusive employment and create meaningful opportunities where people of all abilities can thrive.
The restaurant offers a sense of inclusion and appreciation to people with special needs, many of whom have been seeking employment for a long time.
“It’s really cool to be able to see them getting to participate in the work community and feel like everybody else,” said Josh.
Community comes together to support woman who runs a front yard food pantry.
Nicole Lee runs a food pantry in her front yard in Northwest Detroit. She started the ‘Blessing Boxes’ in 2022 after losing her son Spencer Adams to a drug overdose.
Families in need turn to it for essential food supplies.
At times, demand has exceeded the available resources, but Nicole remains committed to giving back to her community.
Her determination has made headlines! She is now receiving overwhelming support from her community. Donations are pouring in to help her meet growing needs.
“I’m happy for her — it’s amazing. I’m happy for the community. You know, people go through things. You never know when you might need the extra help, and this is exactly what we get here,” said Tyana Moore, a community member.

It’s easy to feel like your hands are tied when you see all the negative things happening in the world. That’s why it’s so important to remember that we can all make a difference, however small, in even one other person’s life.
Don’t be afraid to reach out! There are lots of opportunities to spread kindness – even just smiling at people or saying hello to your mailperson. We all need reminders of kindness every now and then.
