We often find it difficult to confront our own feelings, much less show our vulnerable sides to other people.
But every time you share your vulnerabilities, you build acceptance and find the courage to live your true authentic self.
On the other side of vulnerability, there is growth, confidence, and belonging.
Sharing your inner thoughts may feel uncomfortable, as you’re laying yourself bare and opening the door to judgment.
But this leap of faith can actually help you get closer to people who truly belong in your life. The people who care the most will listen and hold space for you when you’re pouring your heart out.
Being able to share that moment of emotional closeness with someone is a beautiful feeling.
Newsflash! Being Vulnerable is One of Your Greatest Strengths
Being Vulnerable is Actually a Strength
By acknowledging our vulnerabilities, we can begin to see how we’re operating out of deep-rooted fears. We can then do the work to get out of survival mode and gain a stronger sense of self-worth.
We’re all trying our best to play the cards we are dealt.
By being vulnerable, we can connect with others more authentically.
- You can observe your thoughts.
- You can reframe the way you look at things and release unhelpful beliefs from your past.
- You can choose your response in the present.
These are all incredible abilities we often take for granted.
Accept where you’re at in your journey.
Each obstacle in life can be viewed as an opportunity to discover your inner strength. Become more mindful of how you react to what is happening to you.
Feeling Free to Be Your True Self
Vulnerability is a choice you make with the people who make you feel safe. With the right people, a state of vulnerability can transform into a safe haven where you feel accepted for who you truly are.
In their presence, you can uncover more of the parts that you had buried deep within yourself. You gain the confidence to share your unspoken truths without inhibition. It also allows you to become comfortable with your emotions.
True vulnerability is trusting people to be open and receptive to your feelings.
Let your loved ones see your imperfections. Open up about your dreams, hopes, and fears.
Mutual expressions of respect, trust, and unconditional acceptance are the essential elements of a healthy relationship.
Throwback to the Motivational Message – March 2024
Burnout happens due to prolonged stress that stems from personal circumstances, relationships, and work.
Many people ignore the signs of burnout, thinking their bodies can handle the stress. However, as stress accumulates over time, our bodies become more susceptible to illnesses.
You’re constantly:
- working long hours
- solving problems
- preparing for the future
- and responding to the demands of life
It’s easy to neglect your health and well-being when you keep telling yourself that it’s all going to pay off soon.
Burnout will not go away on its own.
It’s Time to Put Yourself First
You can’t produce your best work if you’re burnt out. You can’t take care of your loved ones or have fulfilling relationships if you don’t make time for your own needs.
It’s time to put yourself on top of your priority list.
Invite tranquility, peace, and relaxation into your life.
Take time to be still.
Returning to a state of relaxation and coming naturally into stillness will take patience and practice.

Affirmations for Overcoming Your Self-Doubt
Despite doing our best to manage our work and personal commitments, we struggle with self-doubts.
When we don’t feel good enough, we tend to push ourselves to the point of exhaustion.
Practice using positive affirmations each time you’re being too hard on yourself:
- “I am allowed to slow down and take a break”
- “I practice self-kindness every day”
- “I choose to focus on the good”
- “I am worthy of self-compassion”
- “I can access self-compassion anytime, anywhere”
- “I have a balanced way of approaching work and my personal life”
- “I prioritize my physical and mental health”
- “I respond to my own needs on time”
- “I am in a loving relationship with myself”
- “I have nothing to prove to anyone”
- “I am worthy just as I am”
You can get better at maintaining a sustainable balance in your life. Build healthy habits that put your body in a state of safety and relaxation.
You are working hard every day. You’re overcoming your limitations. You are bravely facing the challenges of life.
Give yourself grace.
Trust that you can attract opportunities that allow you to live a life of ease, joy, and abundance.
You can create a life of power, and peace.
It is possible.
Throwback – End of the Month Motivational Message for March 2023
And just like that, we made it through the third month of 2023. Some months seem to fly by and some take forever to end.
What was it like for you?
Did you make intentional choices throughout the month?
Remind yourself of the Monthly Motivational Message from the beginning of March.
Staying Intentional
Our thoughts, feelings, and emotions get influenced by countless things every day. Taking control of our own thoughts and emotions is a goal that we need to work towards every single day.
It’s your responsibility to protect the things that matter to you.
Protect your vision, your dreams, and the idea of the life you really want to live.
Small interactions with other people, the things you do every day, and the thoughts you focus on define your life as much as the big decisions and events.
These seemingly ordinary days define your life and shape who you are becoming.
- Whatever happens, you keep moving in the right direction.
- Decide which behaviors are worth investing your energy in.
- When you focus on being intentional with what you think and do, you feel more capable and confident.
It’s not realistic to believe that we can eliminate all distractions from our lives. Distractions will always be there. Our job is to understand the effect these distractions have on our lives.
Once you’re aware of how you react to what’s happening to you, you can choose to divert your attention and focus more on things that will positively impact your life.
